From photograph
to physical object.

An image on a screen and a framed photograph offer different encounters with the same work. Scale, paper and the space around the image become part of looking.

The edition

Each photograph in On the Edge, Perfectly Normal, Attachment Issues and California has an edition of 15 numbered prints shared across both sizes, plus 1 artist’s proof (AP). A larger format does not create an additional edition. A signed certificate of authenticity accompanies the print.

The print

Every work is printed on Canson Infinity Baryta Prestige II, 340 g/m². Archival pigment print on a smooth, baryta, natural-white acid-free paper without optical brighteners. The base is made from cotton and alpha-cellulose. Its deep blacks and tonal detail suit the photographs. Pocej produces the prints in his own studio.

The frame

The print is offered unframed, with framing available by arrangement. The two paper formats are 61 × 91 cm (image 56 × 86 cm) and 110 × 160 cm (image 100 × 150 cm). Framed views illustrate presentation options; frames are not included in the listed price.

The room

Before choosing a work, consider the wall, the viewing distance and the other objects around it. A photograph’s visual weight is not simply its size. For a particular room or a group of works, contact the studio to discuss the selection and installation context.
